I don't have any problem with police, they believe they're doing the right thing and most have good hearts, I however have a problem with crooked police, those who abuse their power, those who falsely tamper with evidence, those who hurt women and children, those who sell drugs, those who infiltrate with gangs, those who neglect those they have in their custody, those who don't give a fuck, those who destroy and pillage. They can never be trusted and cause more destruction then your average street fighter, bikie, or local drug dealer. They betray the trust and fail to protect those who put their trust in them. The copper in this song I never met and never learned his name, though I said I did. And if I were going to name him, I'd become a target and I'm already Public Enemy Number 27 or some shit. Wait until I'm framed, these are the last days of my freedom, but the people who are betraying me will turn on each other at a flip of a hat, so they will become undone and the woman will find my art, I promise. And all my work that was stolen will unfold and she will get her house on the beach in Santa Monica like the old rock song says and we will swim out past the breakers and watch the world die. Because The Rose will never lose her Thorns.
